Fans of driving simulators are usually torn between two great racing games: Forza (on Xbox) and Gran Turismo (on Playstation). There are new versions of both games due soon – Forza Motorsport 5 and Gran Turismo 6. But which one are we most excited about?

Porsche 998 (911) caught testing

The current version of the 911 has not long been refreshed, and still has more to deliver. Only the Carrera and Targa have had the facelift so far, and still to come is the Turbo, not to mention the GT3. But Porsche is already a long way down the road with the next generation 911 (998), which is not expected to launch until 2011, as you can see from this spy shot taken in rather chilly Arctic climes.

However, the likelihood of us ever seeing the reborn TF roadster seems to be receding by the week.Now known as the XPower WR, the Qvale Mangusta-based supercar has been eased back into production by William Riley – a descendant of the creators of the historic car company bearing the same name.His company, known as MG Sports and Racing Europe Limited, produces the supercharged WR, selling it for between £75,000 and £90,000 depending in specification. The rights to the car – and its badge – were bought from MG Rover administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2005.
